Welcome to the inaugural Great Lakes Community Classical Guitar Ensemble Summit.  This summit is the brain-child of classical guitarists Robin Wohlfeil and Julie Goldberg.

 

In spring of 2019, Robin and Julie discussed the various community guitar ensembles they directed, performed with, and heard throughout the midwest. "Wouldn't it be great if there was an event where adult-amateur guitarists could get together and exchange ideas, learn new techniques and make music together?" Julie mused.  Robin enthusiastically agreed, and the Midwest Classical Guitar Ensemble Summit was born!

The summit is open to guitar ensembles and soloists interested in playing with an ensemble for the day.  Summit activities include: Guitar Orchestra rehearsal and Performance
